There’s a hostler job near my house that opens up every 2weeks.
17hr to start with about 10hr overtime.
Problem i see is this really cant be considered road experience since id only be parking trucks.

your decision should be based on whether you want to drive on roads initially, or just get accustomed to the trucks by doing yard jockey stuff to start
    its really up to you

One positive thing I could think about that job would be you would get plenty of backing experience. I worked at a distribution center for a while back when I was younger. The guys who work the yard could just about back anything anywhere. I’m sure it would be a great way to master your backing skills before you go over the road if that’s what you want. Just my thoughts good luck on whatever you decide.

That’s true it would give me plenty of backing.
